Aims & Activities
Steps Wellbeing Service is a community service which aims to promote wellbeing for people who are experiencing mental health difficulties. We work in a recovery focused way which takes into consideration the person as a whole and aims to look at ways of supporting and empowering them to develop and reach their goals. The service provides meaningful activities and groups which encourage people to gain structure, skills and social contact.
Sussex Oakleaf provides a range of support service to people with mental health needs, those with a personality disorder and individuals at risk of homelessness. We operate throughout Sussex providing both accommodation and community based support services. We empower people and promote independence by providing recovery focused community wellbeing services, residential care, peer mentoring, housing support and volunteering opportunities. We work in partnership with people who use our services to provide personalised support. The ethos of our organisation is recovery focused. This means that we view all clients as individuals with their own unique needs. We offer services that are client focused, supportive, encouraging, engaging and have clearly defined goals and aspirations.
